National Education Seminar for Teachers in Hong Kong - The 12th 5-year Plan of China
Activity Introduction
The 12th 5-year Plan was made for 2011-2015, which was recognized as the crucial period for better social conditions, economic reform and development. Facing complicated international politics and economic situations, the Chinese government has given a lot of targets and strategies in different categories, like economic development, resource utilization, peoples' living conditions, science and innovation, etc. A 5-year plan with broad horizons can surely help China keep making great progress in the road of "Peaceful Development". To let teacher know more about it, we invited Prof. Ye Hedong from Guangdong Academy of Social Sciences to have analysis on China's current challenges and opportunities. Also, participants can discuss the content of the 12th 5-year Plan with Prof. Ye to know more about its effectiveness.
