New Generation Civic Ambassadors Training and Promotion Program 2005

Promote social inclusion, from citizens of good quality

This program aims at fostering youth with “Vision, innovation, erudition and responsibility”. We hope that the youth of new generation are concerned with Hong Kong current events, love motherland, have sense of responsibility to Hong Kong and sense of belonging to motherland, and have enough understanding of the world.
Through this program, we make the young people realize the importance of social inclusion, learn to respect different opinions, promote social inclusion with their own abilities, and arouse the participants’ civic consciousness of caring about society, make them “Learn through Practice”, exercise eloquence and strengthen courage, be active in social affairs.

Characteristics

  1. Improve problem solving skills and team spirit.
  2. Develop interest in Hong Kong current events, enhance ability to analyze current events.
  3. Strengthen sense of citizenship identity, improve citizen quality.
  4. Understand globalization problems, cognize impact of “globalization” on “me”.
